Cannabis Is More Dangerous Than You Think
Cannabis today isn’t the same as it was 20 years ago. With THC levels skyrocketing, more people are experiencing cannabis-induced psychosis, leading to long-term psychiatric diagnoses like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Some assume bad trips last only hours, but I’ve seen cases where symptoms persist for months or even years. Nearly half of those with cannabis-induced psychosis later receive a schizophrenia diagnosis. At the same time, Big Cannabis is using the same deceptive marketing tactics as Big Pharma—hyping the benefits while minimizing risks. Young people with developing brains are especially vulnerable. Could some psychiatric diagnoses actually be cannabis-induced brain injuries that could have healed if use had stopped?

The Prison of Certainty
[Source] In yesterday's essay on 'Parallel Realities,' I explored how algorithmic sorting and information manipulation have created fragmented realities where we no longer share a common understanding of facts. Today, I'll dig into the flip side: why our minds cling to beliefs despite evidence of manipulation.
A saying, dubiously tied to Mark Twain, puts it: "It's easier to fool people than to convince them they've been fooled." True or not, it nails a psychological reality - once we've committed to a belief, abandoning it can feel nearly impossible.
In my previous work, I've explored how our information landscape is systematically engineered through algorithmic division (‘Engineering Reality‘), institutional narratives (‘Reading Between the Lies’), and the systematic dismissal of pattern recognition (‘That Can't Be True’). But understanding these external systems is only half the equation. The other half lies within us – the psychological mechanisms that make us resistant to changing our minds even when confronted with overwhelming evidence.

Paul is Dead: 2009 Wired Italia Findings
[Source] The cover-story Chiedi chi era quel «Beatle» for the July 15 2009 issue of Wired Italia, the Italian edition of the US magazine Wired, describes the analysis of the McCartney conspiracy theory conducted by two Italians, Gabriella Carlesi and Francesco Gavazzeni (the man and woman in the photo).
Their purpose for analyzing this conspiracy theory was to provide indisputable, scientific evidence that would put an end to the persistent rumors that Paul McCartney had died in a car accident in 1966. However, the results of their analysis surprised them. Instead of putting an end to the rumors, their analysis provides scientific evidence that the Paul McCartney of today is not the same man as the Paul McCartney prior to 1966.
By coincidence, on that same day that this article appeared in Italy, Paul McCartney was at the Ed Sullivan theater in New York City to appear on the David Letterman television show and to give a free, outdoor performance on top of the marquee of the Ed Sullivan theater. He and Letterman laughed about the silly rumor that Paul McCartney had died in 1966. We could interpret McCartney's appearance in New York City as an attempt to distract Americans from the publication of the Italian article, and to encourage Americans to laugh at the McCartney conspiracy theories.
I will use the name Paul to refer to Paul McCartney before the 1966 car accident, and Faul to refer to the Paul McCartney after the accident. So, are Paul and Faul the same person?

British Psychiatry: From Eugenics to Assassination
[Source] A behavior control research project was begun in the 1950s, coordinated by the British psychological warfare unit called the Tavistock Institute, with the Scottish Rite Masons, the Central Intelligence Agency, and other British, U.S., Canadian, and United Nations agencies.
The project became famous in the 1970s under a CIA code name, “MK-Ultra.” Its notoriety for brainwashing by drugs, hypnosis, electroshock, and other tortures caused many books to be written about the project, and the U.S. Senate conducted hearings which exposed many of its abusive features.
President Gerald Ford appointed a commission headed by Vice President Nelson Rockefeller, to correct the CIA’s misconduct. There was a widespread anti-establishment view at the time, that here was the fox appointed to guard the hen house.
The intelligence agencies offered a public rationale for the project: the need to counteract and compete with the mind-control capabilities of the communists. This was largely based on the fact that U.S. personnel held prisoner by the enemy in the Korean War had signed false confessions of crimes, and some had defected to North Korea, the apparent result of brainwashing.

Space, Symbols, and Suspicion
From Nazi scientists to moon landings and fiat currency – is NASA selling us a story about space, or something much bigger?

[Source] Recently, I came across Fadi Lama's thought-provoking series "Mass Psychology in Geopolitics," specifically his analysis of the 1969 moon landing and its connection to broader geopolitical shifts. Meryl Nass's introduction to Lama's work highlighted several key questions about the moon landing that resonated with my own research. I'd realized Fadi has commented on my Substack before, always with provocative questions and ideas. This inspired me to revisit a story I had shared on Instagram about a year ago and compile them into a more comprehensive exploration of NASA and its activities.
The following essay draws from those Instagram notes, now expanded with additional context from Lama's work. While Lama's essay aligns with much of what I've independently researched, these observations began with an online discussion I encountered regarding complex systems regression. Someone posed the question: "Could NASA safely land astronauts on the moon again?" Their hypothesis was that perhaps NASA avoids trying because potential failure might reveal how much science and government agencies have regressed in five decades.
This perspective, while thought-provoking, only scratches the surface. When we begin to examine the origins and peculiarities surrounding NASA, a different picture emerges - one that suggests our understanding of space exploration may be built upon a carefully constructed narrative.
